How MAEC is Responding During COVID-19 Pandemic

25th Anniversary Globe

We want you to know that at MAEC we remain dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to high-quality, effective, and equitable education. No matter how long it takes to get through this, our team will be working with educators, policymakers, community partners, and families to provide essential support and resources.

Everyone feels the impact of this virus, but we know that the effects are hardest among those who are most vulnerable. This pandemic will likely amplify the inequities in our country, not least in our education system.

At MAEC, we continue our work with more commitment than ever. Here is our plan:

  • All staff are working remotely and continue to be available to support our clients. Please feel free to reach out by email or phone at any time.
  • Our technical assistance work is continuing as we design new ways of staying connected and providing services.
  • We are planning live, online conversations, webinars, and weekly newsletters and will be updating our website with resources for educators and families.

During times like these, we are reminded of the importance of collaboration, the value of partnerships, and the strength of community. We have the opportunity to work together to ensure all students, families, and educators have the best resources we can provide.

Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter and stay tuned to our website for more information.
