MAEC Partners with Pro Bono Business Team to Advance its Commitment to Excellence
BETHESDA, MD — SEPTEMBER 11, 2019 – MAEC is proud to announce its selection as a Compass 2019-2020 pro bono partner. Compass delivers strategic guidance to selected nonprofits in cities across the United States.
A team of Compass-trained pro bono business professionals will help MAEC achieve strategic alignment. The Compass team will analyze MAEC’s structure and resources and make recommendations to strengthen MAEC’s internal capacity and ensure its objectives align with its mission.
MAEC is one of just 23 nonprofits selected to receive Compass’ pro bono services in the Greater Washington area this year.

MAEC’s mission is to promote excellence and equity in education to achieve social justice. Through educator training and services, MAEC combats structural, cultural, and operational policies and procedures that impede the success of racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse students in the United States.
