A resource for Maine parents and caregivers to advocate for their child’s personal and academic success.
- MAEC’s Consortium for Engaging Families Across Maine (CEFAM) developed thirteen worksheets covering ways parents and caregivers can engage with teachers and school staff. This resource can help ensure clear understanding and communication between families and administrators and inform parents and caregivers to take the best actions to support their child’s success. Topics include navigating services for multilingual learners with disabilities, individualized education programs (IEPs), advocacy for undocumented students, and more.
