WORKSHOP FULL – Interventions to Disrupt the Effects of Implicit Bias and Racial Anxiety on Student Outcomes
This workshop offers participants cutting edge research on interventions addressing the effects of implicit bias and racial anxiety on student achievement to explain why teacher behavior differs toward students of color even when teachers’ conscious intentions are egalitarian. This interactive panel will share the research on solutions to these phenomena and also engage the audience in opportunities to practice these interventions.
