Advancement to Equitable Disciplinary Practices in PA: A Journey Towards Alignment of Tiered Behavioral Support
This workshop explains the process implemented by the state of Pennsylvania to advance equitable, tiered disciplinary practices in K-12 schools in collaboration with PaTTAN and MAEC. It will provide examples of 1) culturally responsive approaches to managing PBIS, 2) on-going advancement of leadership capacity grounded in cultural competence, 3) data checklist scenario activity, and 4) experiences that support the identification and embracing of barriers and effective practices already in place.
