Mr. Alston has assumed a number of leadership roles in the 20 years he has worked in AACPS, including special educator, assistant principal, and principal. He also served as Senior Manager of Research, where among other accomplishments, he supported the school system’s instructional initiatives and co-facilitated a work group on eliminating achievement gaps.
