The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) builds on the legacy of the original Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, which sought to ensure that all students have access to equitable educational opportunities. Please join us on June 27 between 2:00 and 3:30 pm for an interactive webinar discussion about ways in which state, district, and school leaders can leverage ESSA to continue to pursue the foundational goal of educational equity.
Presenters will:
- Share a data-driven and outcome-based equity framework
- Examine key ESSA equity provisions
- Discuss examples of best practices underway across states and districts
- Discuss strategies states are using to emphasize indicators of growth in relation to equity
- Share a new resource to support school, district, and community leaders who are committed to providing and sustaining equitable outcomes for all students
