WORKSHOP FULL – Student Voice for Equity: An Instrument of Positive Change and Collaborative School Improvement
This workshop demonstrates how Student Voice can be used as an instrument of change and a high-leverage strategy to help shape a more inclusive school and classroom climate. Research shows that students who feel authentically engaged and heard at school are more likely to realize their full academic potential. This professional learning experience will provide insight to research around the positive impact of Student Voice on academic motivation, student learning, and the school improvement process. Participants will leave with ways to listen to, learn from, and lead with students in order to enhance their school experience and cultivate an environment of equity.
