Ms. Allen facilitates professional learning for cultural proficiency and student voice initiatives in her district. She leads the training that supports second-year teachers in developing mindsets of equity, high expectations, and cultural competence. Ms. Allen also teaches in McDaniel College’s Excellence and Equity in Education graduate program.
