Effective teachers are the most important in-school factor affecting student achievement. Unfortunately, evidence suggests that students from low-income families and students of color do not have the same level of access to effective teachers as their peers.
To address this gap, school leaders at all levels must identify and implement strategies that will work in their unique context to ensure all students have the teachers they need to achieve their highest potential.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders Talent Development Framework. Participants will learn methods for recruiting, retaining, and developing great teachers for all students. You will also hear real examples of the bold strategies states and districts are using to move toward equity.
